Today I celebrate an important milestone for me that I want to share with you and that fills me with pride: it is the milestone of having reached the number of 100 different images awarded in international photography competitions. Three years ago Sergio González made me promise him that I would present to contests, as a tool to check the level I had and for better understanding the trends in current photography. 3 years ago also, a cursed cancer took away Sergio González. Today is his birthday, I think he would have turned 43 years old. That is why I have chosen to wait two days to announce and celebrate this event with you. Thank you my friend for all your help. Always in my mind.

Since March 22, 2021, I belong to the Natural Portfolio collective, which currently includes the best Spanish author nature photographers of the moment and some foreigners. If you want to see the photographic work of the collective, please check Portfolio Natural.

I want to share with you a new milestone: having managed to reach the figure of 200 prizes obtained in international photography contests. Thank you very much for following me and for your support.

The winners of the prestigious 32 Memorial Maria Luisa contest have just been announced. In this contest I have been awarded two Honorable Mentions, one in the Mountain category and another in the People and Travel category.

The winners of the prestigious German nature contest Glanzlitcher 2022 have just been announced. In said contest I was among the 20 finalists in the Mammals category and the Category Winner in Aerial Views, with an image taken on an arctic beach on an island in Svalbard, of a family of walruses resting.

Today we start a new journey, with a completely redesigned new website, hand in hand with Bluekea (web specialists for photographers). Many hours of work invested to try to achieve a more dynamic and aesthetic website, with a professional finish. I hope you enjoy it.

On the weekend of May 13 and 14, I attended the awards ceremony in Infiesto and Oviedo for the prizes obtained in the prestigious 32 Memorial Maria Luisa contest. At this gala, I received the awards for my two award-winning photos and shared a few days with my colleagues from Portfolio Natural. Thank the event and the organizers for these two wonderful days and the very high level of the Gala.
