Issue 6 of LMF magazine publishes an article about the Ilulissat Fjord, what it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004. It includes the Kangia ice fjord and the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier, the largest iceberg factory in the world. In this article I explain what to take into account and how to plan a trip to this spectacular part of the world.
Issue 10 of LMF magazine publishes an article about the Nenets, which are an ethnic group made up of nomadic herders who live in the Arctic region of Siberia, on the Yamal Peninsula in northern Russia, within the Polar or Arctic Urals National Park (last part of the Ural Mountains). Every week they change locations in search of pasture for their herd of reindeer, their main source of livelihood. Living with them for a week in their store with extremely low temperatures is quite a challenge.
Issue 4 of Nature Art magazine publishes an article about Lake Baikal in winter, which completely freezes up to a depth of 3 meters, allowing cars and people to circulate through it. This lake is the largest and purest freshwater reserve on the planet. And in winter it is also one of the most spectacular areas of the planet to photograph.
