A different view that we usually see of the Manhattan skyline. A more careful and personal view through a series of black and white photographs, taken from the Catholic Cemetery of Calvary located in Sunnyside (Brooklyn). From its gentle hills, the Manhattan skyline acts as a backdrop to the graves of those who made this city grow. Within the current narrative, it would be a series of oxymorons that plays with the idea of life and death. A sky sometimes very suggestive, helps to convey an even more ethereal feeling, which enhances that mysticism that I also try to convey.
